Terms of use

These terms are between you and JGA Ventures LLC, of 30 N Gould St, Ste N, Sheridan, WY 82801, United States ("we", "us"). They cover your use of Train Personal ("the app"). In force from: 2026-10-21.

By using the app you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

1. Who can use the app

You must be at least 16. The app is for your own personal use, not for running a business.

2. What the app is

The app is a strength-training logbook. It holds your plans, records your workouts, suggests when to try more weight, and explains exercises. It has an AI coach you can ask questions. Logging, plans and history work with no connection and with the coach off.

3. Not medical advice

The app is not a medical service and not a medical device. Nothing in it is medical advice. It does not diagnose, treat or prevent any injury or illness. That includes the plans, the how-to text, the weight suggestions, the linked videos and everything the coach says.

• Check with a doctor before you start a new training programme, and especially if you are pregnant, have a heart, joint or other health condition, take medication, or are returning from an injury.
• If you feel chest pain or pressure, trouble breathing, faintness, sudden numbness or weakness, or a sudden severe headache, stop and call your local emergency number.
• If something hurts, stop. The app cannot examine you.

4. You train at your own risk

Lifting weights can injure you. You choose the exercises, the weights and the equipment, and you decide whether you are fit to do them. A weight or an exercise the app suggests is a suggestion: you are the judge of whether it is right for you today. Check the equipment and how it is set before you use it. To the extent the law allows, you accept the risks of your own training.

5. The AI coach

• The coach is an AI: Google's Gemini writes its replies. Each reply is marked "Coach · AI".
• An AI can be wrong, and can sound sure when it is wrong. Use your own judgement.
• The coach changes nothing by itself. Anything that would change your plan is shown to you as a suggestion that you approve, decline or edit.
• The same is true of a plan built by AI and of equipment read from a photo: you see the result and decide.
• The coach is used only after you agree to what is sent to it. The privacy policy says what that is.
• The coach may be unavailable, and the free uses the app shows may change.

6. Your account

You can use the app with no account. If you create one, you sign in with Apple or with Google, and we keep a copy of your logbook so it follows you to another phone. Keep your phone and that Apple or Google account secure: whoever can sign in as you can see your logbook. You can delete your account in the app at any time, in You.

7. What you put in

Your logbook, notes and photos are yours. You let us store them and process them only as needed to run the app for you, as the privacy policy describes. We use your photos for your own account only.

You agree:

• to photograph gym equipment, not people, and to keep other people out of the picture. The app covers the faces it finds, and it can miss one;
• to put nothing unlawful in a note, a name, a photo or a question;
• not to break, overload or get round the app's limits or its security, and not to use the coach for anything but its purpose.

8. What is ours, and what is others'

The app, its exercise list, its how-to text and its design are ours or our licensors', and you may use them only inside the app. The fonts' licence is in the app, under You, "Licences".

"Watch a video" and "See pictures" open YouTube and Google Images. Those videos and pictures are not ours, we do not control them, and their own terms and Google's privacy policy apply.

9. Price

The logbook, plans, history and timer are free. The AI features have a free trial and free uses, which the app shows. Beyond them you can buy, through Apple, on iPhone:

• The coach plan, monthly or yearly: a number of coach questions every 30 days, the coach's focus before every workout, and a number of AI plans and photo reads every 30 days. The app shows the current numbers before you buy. They are counted from the day your plan is first live.
• A pack of 60 questions and 9 AI plans. They never expire, and are used only after the questions and AI plans of your trial and your plan.

Price. The price is the one the App Store shows you before you buy, in your currency and with any tax.

Renewal. The plan renews automatically at the end of each month or year, at the price shown, and is billed to your Apple Account, until you cancel it.

Cancelling. Cancel through Apple, in your iPhone's Settings, at least 24 hours before it renews. The plan then runs to the end of the period you paid for. Deleting your account or the app does not cancel it.

Refunds are Apple's, under Apple's terms: ask Apple, not us. If Apple refunds a pack, its questions and AI plans that are left are taken off.

Your account. Buying needs an account, so that what you buy stays with you on another phone. "Restore purchases" brings back a plan or a pack bought with your Apple Account. Deleting your account deletes the questions and AI plans you bought.

Prices and what each plan includes are shown in the app and the App Store before you buy, and may change.

10. Keeping your data safe

We try to keep the service running and your copy safe, and we cannot promise either. A phone can be lost, and a server can fail. "Export a copy" in You gives you your logbook as a file: use it for anything you would not want to lose.

11. No promises about the app

To the extent the law allows, the app is provided "as is". We do not promise that it is free of errors, that it is always available, that its suggestions suit you, or that using it will produce any result.

12. Limit of our liability

To the extent the law allows:

• we are not liable for injury, loss or damage that comes from your training or from relying on the app, the coach or linked content;
• we are not liable for indirect losses or lost data;
• our total liability to you is limited to what you paid for the app in the 12 months before the claim, including what you paid through Apple.

Nothing in these terms takes away a right the law gives you that cannot be taken away, or limits liability that the law does not allow to be limited.

13. Ending

You can stop at any time by deleting your account and removing the app. We may suspend or end your use if you break these terms. We tell you first, by email if we have one or in the app, unless the use is abuse or the law requires us not to.

14. Changes

We may change the app and these terms. We will put the new date at the top. When a change matters, we tell you in the app and on that page at least 14 days before it takes effect. These terms are published at https://trainpersonal.app/terms.

15. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the law of the State of Wyoming, United States. Disputes are heard in the state and federal courts of that state. There is no arbitration.
